Only our name is shabby ... your project need not be!

Our Rules!

The Shabby Tea Room Challenges are created to inspire your creativity! Simply follow the requirements for each week's challenge. You are welcome to submit any type of project unless the challenge calls for something specific. Only our name is 'shabby' ... your design need not be!

You may enter as many times as you wish, but please only enter newly created projects for submission (no back-dated projects that have been previously posted on your blog). You may combine our challenge with as many other challenges as you wish!  We value your participation, time and efforts ... if for some reason your card or project does not meet the weekly challenge requirements, it will not be removed from the gallery, but simply will not be considered for the weekly prize.  Please read our instructions carefully so your hard work does not go unnoticed!

We understand that art is very subjective and is viewed differently through each individual's eyes.  We know that colors can photograph one way and look differently on the computer screen.  All we ask is that you submit your best work that reflects the current weekly challenge as closely as possible.

When your project is ready for submission, please link your creation here using our linking system which will be at the end of each challenge. Post your creation on your blog, or an alternate online gallery, linking back to The Shabby Tea Room Challenge. When using a public forum, please tag with the specific TSTR# for easy access. POST ONLY THE LINK TO YOUR ENTRY ... not your entire blog or multiple projects. Links to the entire blog, links with multiple project submissions and links not linked back to us will not be considered for the weekly prizes.

Bi-weekly challenges will be posted on the 1st AND 3rd Monday each month. All entries must be linked by 12:00 pm EST (noon) on the Sunday before the new challenge begins. To keep things fair for all participants, if you do not follow the above rules, your entry will not be considered. If you have questions, please feel free to ask!

Weekly challenge "Tea Time Terrific Top Three" and "Shabby Tea Room Winner" will be announced each Monday morning. Weekly winners will have one week to claim their prize. If you are a Weekly Winner, you will be invited to Guest Design with the Shabby Girls!

Time is precious and the Shabby Girls love to leave you sweet comments, but Word Verification slows the process down.  Please consider turning Word Verification OFF and leaving Comment Moderation ON!

Most important ... HAVE FUN!!!
